Face It

Ive recently been sucked into Facebook, and by sucked in, I mean I spend time examining the profiles of people I havent spoken to since junior high and debating about if i should ignore this person who i HATED but who I have a lot of friends in common with.

this is a really strange thing, honestly. and it makes me rather depressed to see how many people i grew up with identify themselves as Conservative, and even MORE depressed to see how many “flair” pieces are conservative, obnoxiously in-your-face preachy, or involve Edward Cullen.

there is one that says something to the effect of: Guys! Want to fall in love? Act like Edward Cullen!

Frankly, the LAST thing I want out of a guy is someone who will disable my car so I cant go see a friend and waits until Im asleep to SNEAK IN MY ROOM AND STARE AT ME AAAAHHH.

So, I need to come up with some smartass flair.

    Why does no one else think this?

    Also, do you know about the privacy settings where you can limit what people can see on your page? Just a thought…

    Facebook is an interesting beast. I actually “defriended” a guy who questioned my faith and belief in humanity in a simple status update prior to the election. It was after weeks and weeks of the same crap. I was glad to not have to hear his spew until after the election, at which point he chilled.

    If you want a liberal friend on Facebook, you can look me up. :o )

    LOL, when I opened my reader and saw that you had a new post I KNEW it was going to be about facebook. And… there is a ‘flair’ with the buffy staked edward and I have it. I am easily amused.

    See, I’ve been trying to find snarky flair for you to help counteract the loads of conservative, preachy updates. My favorite was a status update from a d-town person I defriended after his update said he was going to go buy a gun to cling to along with his religion.

    Why is Edward Cullen so exciting? I recently read Twilight and it was entertaining, but not the end all be all I expected.
