Today is SLOW. my head hurts, im dragging, im tired, im whiny AND cranky, and yet, today will not end!

actually, its not a bad day, just a slow one.

Speaking of Thursdays, though, can i even explain how excited i am about The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy movie?

Marvin is acted by Warwick Davis, and voiced by Alan Rickman! how fabulous is THAT?

There was no new Lost last night. Woe.

However, brandus made the discovery that SOMEONE in the new building has wireless internet..and we are close enough to pick up on it. Now, this would be REALLY cool if we had given up our wireless access, but in truth, we just havent moved it over yet. So, we arent STEALING access…just borrowing until the end of the month when we get ours set up. See?

and besides, if they didnt lock their access, its not our fault. our access is locked. because we are evil.

Also, have a lead on a library related job. am filling out application now. eep.

im so tired today. gah.

and i just talked to the guy i consider my boss..the guy in charge of transition for the district, and sort of told him i might not be here next year.

eek.

he nodded and he looks so freaking exhausted, so im sure he understands, but i still feel weird about it.

of course, i also found out that my principal has applied for a different job in denver, so its not like its a bad thing to change things.

or, at least, thats what i keep telling myself.

*enthusiasm* change! yay!

maybe i should apply to be a yak herder. i wonder if the qualifications are hard.

We have a new Pope. According to Brandus, this guy (Benidict XVI), was more or less the official Vatican bouncer. Sounds like a real winner.

Because, you know, the church NEEDS to become more conservative. Especially in matters of femanism and birth control.

No, Im not Catholic, but even I can see the problems with a church that doesnt change with the times.

Also, this past weekend was a very LONG weekend, which was lovely!

My school district sent me to a conference Thursday and Friday, and even put me up in a hotel. And then we had Monday off from work. So, i havent been here in almost a week…add that to the fact i was falling down sick a good part of last week, and i wasnt here much last week either.

see, i can handle my job when i dont have to be there very often.

Of course, the instant i get back to Cowtown, Brandus and I start packing.

ALL WEEKEND LONG, i have had two main choices.
1) Stay at old apartment. Pack. Clean.
2) Stay at new apartment. Unpack. Clean.

The back of my legs are so sore! The new apartment is up two flights of stairs, which means I got to go up and down them about 7 thousand times this weekend. Brandus and his friend Dave carried heavy things, but i carried and packed and unpacked everything else!

So, currently, we have two different apartments in different parts of town, both of which look like a hurricane came right through the middle and ripped all our possessions to shreds.

*sigh*

but im working on setting up my office, and hopefully soon, the bed itself will be put together, and we can stop sleeping on the mattress on the floor.
